
Some more details have been released regarding the upcoming Hungry for History event featuring WOMT Radio.
100 Years of WOMT Radio will be held at The Venue on Thursday, April 9th, featuring a presentation on WOMT’s century of service to the Manitowoc community.
Jim Medley will moderate a Q and A session with Lee Douglass, Damon Ryan, and Terry Stevenson, while Our Legacy Family Restaurant provides the food.
The menu for the 1920s-themed evening will feature turkey and gravy, mini meatloaf, baby red garlic mashed potatoes with beef gravy, hot veggies, jello, and a three-piece dessert with upside-down pineapple cake, kneecaps, and chocolate mousse cups.
Tickets will be available through April 1st at a cost of $35 apiece, and can be purchased at the Seehafer Broadcasting studios on Mangin Street, or online at ManitowocCountyHistory.org.
No tickets will be sold at the door.
The doors will open at 5:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:00, and the presentation will begin at 6:30.
All attendees will also receive a commemorative WOMT 100 welcome gift.
