A former Madison school teacher is facing federal charges for alleged sexual misconduct with a Texas teenager.
David Fawcett was recently indicted after police in Texas warned the Madison Police Department about a 58-year-old man talking to a girl under the age of 18.
He was then booked into jail for allegedly sending sexually explicit photos to the teen.
Prosecutors mentioned during a hearing on Wednesday that they believe he spoke with more than a dozen underage girls.
He’s also accused of trying to microwave his devices when police arrived at his home.
