There is just one day left to take part in the Sheboygan spring leaf collection.
The City of Sheboygan has said that because of last year’s late leaf fall and early snow, leaf piles were unfortunately left behind.
In order to keep streets clean and to protect storm drains, the City’s week-long leaf collection will come to an end today (March 13th).
Residents across the City who have yet to have their leaves collected are asked to rake them into uniform piles in the street.
Piles must also be away from the curb and parked vehicles, and branches, sod, or other yard waste will not be accepted.
Sheboyganites who would rather drop off their leaves themselves can do so at the City of Sheboygan Residential Recycling Center located at 2026 New Jersey Avenue.
The Recycling Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and can be utilized for both leaves and other yard waste not accepted during this one-week leaf collection in Sheboygan.
Anyone with questions regarding the leaf collection can contact the Sheboygan Department of Public Works by calling 920-459-3440.
