
An hour-long standoff in Oshkosh came to an end thanks to the Winnebago County SWAT team.
WHBL reports that the department was called to the 4900 block of Highway 45 just after 8:00 yesterday morning (March 10th) on a report of a domestic violence incident.
The suspect was reported to have been armed, leading to a standoff. Multiple attempts to get the suspect to surrender were unsuccessful, leading to the arrival of the SWAT team, which was able to enter the residence and take the 19-year-old man into custody without causing any injuries.
He has been charged with Disorderly Conduct With a Firearm, 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Failure to Comply With an Officer’s Attempt to Take a Person Into Custody, and Resisting Arrest.
