Sheboyganites can now get their hands on a draft of the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
The City of Sheboygan, in partnership with Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission, has released the updated draft for the plan, including an updated future land use map.
This draft offers viewers an overview of what a comprehensive plan is intended to accomplish, the planning processes needed to formulate the plan, future plans, and much more.
It addresses the state of, and future of aspects in the City, including population and housing, natural, agricultural, and cultural resources, transportation, utilities, and community facilities.
The purpose of releasing this draft is for public review ahead of the City’s Comprehensive Plan open houses slated for later this month.
Sheboygan residents are encouraged to look over the draft of the plan before the open houses to better understand its contents, potential concerns, or possible improvements to be made.
The open houses will be held on March 19th at Uptown Social from noon to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
