
There are three Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (March 11th).
First up is the Local Emergency Planning Committee, which will be in the Communications and Technology Building at 9:00 a.m.
After hearing comments from the public, the group will hear fromĀ Steve Fenske, a representative with Wisconsin Emergency Management.
Then, at 4:30 p.m., the Public Works Committee will convene in the Public Health Building, where they will get the latest on the recycling and solid waste programs and the courthouse windows and HVAC project.
They will also review contracts for the 2026 Manitowoc County Fair and multiple capital projects slated for 2026.
Closing out the day will be the Public Safety Committee, which will meet in the Communications and Technology Building at 5:00 p.m.
After reviewing several reports, the group will hear from Sheriff Dan Hartwig regarding a pair of DOJ grant opportunities.
