A Marquette University alumnus is stepping away from Wisconsin’s highest court.
Justice Annettee Ziegler announced yesterday she will not seek another term on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Justice Ziegler was first elected to the high court in 2007 and won reelection without opposition in 2017.
She used to serve as a circuit court judge in Washington County, an assistant US attorney, special assistant district attorney, and more.
Justice Ziegler said after spending more than 30 years on the bench, she plans to spend more time with her family.
