Two people charged with stealing items from a Manitowoc store have had their bonds sent.
31-year-old Amber Lutzke was given a $1,000 personal recognizance bond by Manitowoc County Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch, with her only condition being not to have contact with Meijer.
She has been charged with felony retail theft and misdemeanor bail jumping, and will return to court on March 30th in Branch 1.
31-year-old Nicholas Arizola was given a cash bond for two probable cause statements. Scharenbroch gave him a $500 cash bail for his alleged role in stealing from Meijer, while a $1,000 cash bail was given to him for separate drug charges.
He is now facing charges of retail theft along with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed knife, and bail jumping.
The 31-year-old also argued with Commissioner Scharenbroch, saying that a gun found in the hotel room he was staying at was not a firearm, but just a BB gun.
Arizola is scheduled to return to court on March 9th at 1:30 p.m. in Branch 4.
Manitowoc Police say Lutzke and Arizola both walked into the Meijer store in February and stole a cart of items, including football cards, Pokémon-related items, butane, and Easter totes.
Lutzke was arrested first, before Arizola was taken into custody after a gun was found at a Manitowoc hotel.
