A local school is once again looking to add to its Hall of Fame.
The Plymouth High School Student Council has announced that they have started accepting applications for their Hall of Fame Class of 2026, with submissions due by May 1st.
The PHS Hall of Fame was created in 2010 by the Student Council to provide the extended community and students with role models and to honor the achievements of their fellow Panthers.
The Hall of Fame currently honors alumni who have excelled in various categories, including education, business, literature, and holding public offices, amongst many others.
On who the ideal nominee would be, the school explained, “Nominees must have graduated from Plymouth High School at least 10 years ago, and should be people who have made a difference, achieved a high level of success, exhibited leadership qualities, and/or served their community.”
Currently, the hall has 39 members, highlighted but not limited to Governor Tony Evers and Sargento Owner Louie Gentine.
Last year’s inductees included Ann Weeden, class of 1973, and Robert Mueller, class of 1983.
Class of 2026 inductees will be announced during the Plymouth High School Commencement ceremony and formally inducted during Homecoming in the fall.
Those looking nominate someone for the PHS Hall of Fame can do so online by visiting Plymouth.k12.wi.us and returning it to the school’s main office.
