The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) has opened registration for its summer school program.
The district will be offering both academic support and enrichment opportunities for students in elementary, middle, and high school, with programming beginning on June 15th.
Through the SASD summer school program, students will receive focused support, an approximately 15:1 student-to-teacher-ratio, and targeted instruction.
On the benefit of participating, the district noted, “Summer school offers students the chance to maintain and build academic skills, explore new interests, and grow their confidence in a supportive environment. By staying engaged over the summer, students can head into the fall feeling prepared, capable, and ready to succeed from day one.”
In addition to offering math, reading, and other instruction opportunities, the summer school program’s enrichment options include disc golf, diamond art, volleyball, cheer camp, heritage school days, and strength training.
