Some new faces have joined the Sheboygan Police Department, and others have received promotions.
The department has shared that three new officers were sworn in on Monday (March 2nd).
Officer Michael Moore has joined Unit 140, Unit 141 has added Officer Michal Bigari, and Officer McKenzie Vang was sworn in to join Unit 142.
On the swearing-in, Sheboygan PD stated, “We’re excited to have each of you on our team and look forward to the professionalism, dedication, and service you will bring to our community.”
In addition to the new faces joining the team, Lieutenant Rebecca Rupnick, Sergeant Jennifer Bryant, Sergeant Matthew Rakow, and Detective Michael Wynveen were promoted, which the department noted to be well-deserved, reflecting their years of hard work, leadership, and commitment to protecting and serving the community.
Family and friends of the freshly sworn-in and promoted members of the department attended the swearing-in ceremony to celebrate the important milestones.
