A local veteran support group will be fundraising this weekend.
The Patriot Riders of America WI Chapter 2 will be hosting its 4th annual Chili Competition and Bake Sale fundraiser on Saturday (March 7th) at City Limits Bar from noon to 4:00 p.m.
This year’s event will benefit Seehafer News Director and United States Army Veteran Ryan Brahm and his wife, Ashly, with medical and personal needs assistance, as Ashly is recovering from a major, life-saving surgery.
With gratitude, Ryan told us, “Ashly and I are overwhelmed by the support. The Manitowoc community has shown time and time again that this is one of the most generous places in the world. Thank you to everyone, and to Patriot Riders of America, WI Chapter 2.”
While all 20 chili competitor spots have been filled, it will cost attendees $10 to be a judge.
Judges will get the chance to taste all the chilis available and then vote on their favorites while supporting a good cause.
Additional amenities at the event will include 50/50 cash raffles, raffle baskets, silent auctions, drinks, and more, all benefiting Ryan and Ashly, along with other active-duty military members, veterans, and their families throughout the community.
Those who are unable to attend the event but still looking to help support the Patriot Riders of America WI Chapter 2 and their efforts can contact the group by calling or texting 920-769-6022.
