Mental Health America Lakeshore is once again looking to support community members who have lost a loved one to suicide.
MHA Lakeshore has announced that they will be holding one final Community Circle today (March 4th) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and it is dedicated to those impacted by suicide.
Following this impromptu Community Circle, the organization will return to its regular schedule, hosting the sessions on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
All circles held by MHA Lakeshore take place at the Girl Scouts of Manitou Council in Sheboygan, located at 5212 Windward Court.
Much like the past Community Circles held in recent weeks, this event aims to offer a compassionate place to connect, process, reflect, and be alongside others who understand what losing someone to suicide can feel like.
They also stated, “This gathering is open to any community member who has been recently impacted by suicide in the community or who carries a suicide loss from any time in their life. There is comfort in being with neighbors who are holding similar grief; no one has to navigate it alone.”
Reservations are not required; however, participants must be 12 years or older to attend.
Those with questions regarding the special suicide loss Community Circle are asked to contact MHA Lakeshore by calling 920-458-3951.
