The City of Manitowoc is doing a special one-time leaf pickup due to an early snowfall last year.
The leaf pickup will start next Monday (March 9th) at 7:00 a.m. Director of Public Infrastructure Dan Koski asks residents to place leaves in the parking lane in front of their property only, no later than the pickup time.
Leaves will only be collected from the street to avoid damaging any grass areas.
City staff also remind residents not to park over a leaf pile and to keep all vehicles clear of parked vehicles.
If you see a leaf pickup crew on your street, please give them room, as their large equipment backs up frequently.
