Local businesses in Sheboygan County are set to celebrate women in the coming days.
International Women’s Day will be celebrated across the globe on Sunday (March 8th), and businesses and organizations are set to join in.
The 3rd annual Sip Sip Soirée! A Celebration of Women + Wine will be held on Thursday (March 5th) at Vintage Elkhart Lake.
During the event, attendees will sample eight wines from female-led wineries and celebrate the empowerment of women.
Then, on March 13th, the Above and Beyond Children’s Museum is set to host the Women in Weather Lab Wonder Workshop from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
This workshop will invite young “meteorologists” to experiment with clouds, color, and electricity with the women from our area who study the sky.
Additionally, Kate Thomma of 3 Sheeps Brewing has crafted the Lady Lupulin Pale Ale with the Pink Boots Hop Blend for her very own, adult-themed take on celebrating International Women’s Day.
This year’s brew and its label draw inspiration from the iconic Rosie the Riveter artwork.
Those looking to sign up for the Sip Sip Soiree can do so by visiting tinyURL.com/sipsip2026, while registration for the Women in Weather Lab can be found online at abkids.org.
More information on the Lady Lupulin Pale Ale is set be released in the near future, and those updates can be found on the 3 Sheeps Brewing Company Facebook page.
