
A man was stabbed in Oshkosh over the weekend.
The Oshkosh Police Department responded to the 400 block of South Koeller Street just before 6:45 Saturday morning (February 28th) on a report of a weapons-related incident.
While en route, the officers learned that a 35-year-old adult male had been stabbed, and the responding officers administered first aid upon their arrival.
The victim was then taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect had fled the scene, but with help from the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, the Neenah Police Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol, the vehicle was located north of the City of Oshkosh.
The 41-year-old Oshkosh man was apprehended after a brief pursuit and was taken to the Winnebago County Jail on charges of Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide and Domestic Disorderly Conduct.
