A Columbia County man is in trouble with the law, accused of threatening a local judge and the sheriff’s office.
Caledonia’s Marc Geiser was arrested Saturday when law enforcement was made aware of social media posts made by the 40-year-old.
Authorities deemed the threatening messages to be credible based on recent interactions with Geiser.
Police tried to arrest Geiser during a traffic stop, but he drove away and stopped again, and was eventually arrested without incident.
Geiser’s home was later searched, where multiple firearms were found, along with other evidence.
