Lakeland University is set to host a training program aimed at Wisconsin dairy professionals.
The university has shared that they will be hosting the state-required HTST Pasteurizer Operator Training Workshop on April 9th.
As of now, approximately 100 of that state’s dairy professionals are set to attend the event held in partnership with the Wisconsin Association for Food Protection and the DATCP’s Division of Food and Recreational Safety on the Lakeland campus.
With this training being mandatory for those in the dairy industry, those in attendance will learn how to legally operate the pasteurization systems in use in the state.
When describing the training, the university said, “The program blends biology, chemistry, and best business practices to develop well-rounded professionals ready for today’s food industry.”
