The City of Milwaukee is going after a trio of fire truck manufacturers.
Brew City filed a lawsuit against the three companies, including two based in Wisconsin, accusing them of working together to increase the prices of firefighting equipment.
City Attorney Evan Goyke described the price spike as an “unlawful anticompetitive scheme.”
Milwaukee’s lawsuit may become part of a larger federal class action lawsuit, which was first filed by the City of La Crosse last August.
Among the companies being sued are Oshkosh Corp. and REV Group in Brookfield.
