Charges against two men who police say tried to bring over 25 pounds of methamphetamine to Manitowoc County are going to federal court.
The cases against Karonn Hamilton and Andre Allen have now been dismissed at the circuit court level and will become federal cases, according to CCAP.
FOX11 reports that another person is also facing a federal charge in the case, Anhuar Garcia-Tarabay, who doesn’t appear to be in custody and has had no court hearings.
A third man in the case, Corven M. Jones, has yet to be arraigned and will be back in court later today (February 26th) for his arraignment hearing.
Hamilton, Allen, and Jones were arrested in December last year after law enforcement determined that they were traveling to the City of Manitowoc to deliver a large amount of methamphetamine, which had an estimated street value of $250,000.
The case was investigated by the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit and the DEA of Green Bay.
