One of the two Milwaukee men implicated in a Sheboygan murder is due in court.
18-year-old Lawrence S. Burford will be back inside a Sheboygan County courtroom today (February 25th) at 3:30 p.m. for a rescheduled preliminary hearing.
This comes as Buford faces charges of First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Armed Robbery with Use of Force, and being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
Buford, a Milwaukee resident, along with 19-year-old Onterio M. Girley, also of Milwaukee, were arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Sheboygan on January 17th.
This fatal incident took the life of teenager Joseph Torres and severely injured an unnamed 18-year-old Sheboygan woman.
Girley has been charged with one count of Felony Murder – Armed Robbery.
At this time, both Buford and Girley remain confined to the Sheboygan County Jail on $1 million and $500,000 cash bails, respectively.
