Mental Health America Lakeshore is looking to support community members who have lost a loved one to suicide.
MHA Lakeshore will be hosting the event today (February 25th) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. inside the Girl Scouts of Manitou conference room in Sheboygan.
This night of shared grief aims to offer a compassionate place to connect, process, reflect, and be alongside others who understand what losing someone to suicide can feel like.
MHA Lakeshore also added, “This gathering is open to any community member who has been recently impacted by suicide in the community or who carries a suicide loss from any time in their life. There is comfort in being with neighbors who are holding similar grief, no one has to navigate it alone.”
To help ensure this remains a supportive and thoughtful event, organizers also ask that attendees be at least 12 years old and “able to understand and process suicide loss.”
The Girl Scouts of Manitou headquarters is located at 5212 Windward Court, and the event is free to attend with no registration required.
Those with questions regarding the event can contact MHA Lakeshore by calling 920-458-3951.
