A Greendale woman has died after being pulled from a house fire.
Fire crews were called to a home on Enfield Avenue around 8:00 Monday morning and saw heavy smoke coming from the house.
Fire responders rescued the 84-year-old woman from inside, who was bedridden, and rushed her to the hospital.
Investigators said she later died, while two others in the house were able to get out safely.
Officials also noted there were no working smoke alarms in the home.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated, but investigators don’t believe it to be suspicious.
