The Green Bay man accused of stabbing his AA sponsor and their dog had his plea hearing set.
35-year-old James Dorr was in court via Zoom last week, where his $2 million cash bond was continued, as he faces charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Mistreatment of Animals Causing Death, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.
Dorr was arrested in January 2025 after his AA sponsor and their dog were found stabbed to death in an apartment in the 1500 block of Capitol Drive.
He was quickly identified as a suspect after his wallet was found at the scene.
Dorr attempted to flee from police, but was caught, and immediately admitted to stabbing both victims.
He is next due in court on April 15th for a status conference followed by a plea hearing on April 17th.
