As the respiratory illness season carries on, a local hospital has adjusted its visitor guidelines.
HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, located at 3100 Superior Avenue in Sheboygan, has shared that its respiratory illness season guidelines are in place to ensure the safety of its colleagues, patients, and visitors.
At this time, only two individuals are allowed to visit a patient at any one time.
Additionally, guests are asked not to visit if they have cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, chills, a sore throat, body or muscle aches, a headache, or a runny nose.
Those under the age of 18 are also asked not to come in as visitors while the respiratory illness season guidelines are in place.
While these adjusted guidelines may cause some issues for potential visitors, St. Nicholas Hospital has thanked the public for their continued understanding and cooperation.
