A Greendale woman is in the hospital after a house fire on Monday morning.
Fire crews were called to a home on Enfield Avenue around 8 a.m and saw heavy smoke coming from the home.
Fire responders rescued a woman from inside who was bedridden and rushed her to the hospital.
Greendale Fire Chief Kenten Kais says that the fire may have started in the basement.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
