Investigators are labeling a threat at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside as a swatting call.
The threat was called in Saturday during an indoor track event, leading to calls for everybody to evacuate or shelter in place.
Several agencies, including the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, arrived on scene to do a sweep of the buildings on campus.
The all-clear was later given, and the shelter-in-place was lifted.
Classes and other school events have moved forward as scheduled.
