The drivers of a vehicle involved in a rollover crash in Appleton attempted to flee on foot late last week.
The Appleton Police Department dispatched officers to the intersection of College Avenue and Mason Street on a report of a rollover crash.
The driver was already running from the scene by the time officers arrived, but they were able to locate them.
The driver was said to be showing signs of impairment, and a breathalyzer test showed the driver had a BAC of .200.
A traffic camera caught the incident and showed the vehicle traveling north on Mason when they slammed into the rear of another vehicle stopped at a red light.
It was also learned that the driver, whose name and age have not been released, had three prior OWI arrests, was subject to a BAC restriction of .02, and was driving with a revoked license.
The driver was arrested on their 4th OWI and for Operating While Revoked.
