Green Bay’s Austin Straubel Airport has been given a major award.
They were named the 2025 Best Overall Nonhub Airport in the U.S. by Swelbar-Zhong Consultancy, an aviation research and advisory firm nationally recognized for its data analysis of airport performance.
The designation recognizes Austin Strubel’s excellence across air service, airport service quality, a strong financial platform for airline economic performance, and overall value delivered to passengers and the region.
Airport Director Marty Piette says the achievement belongs to the entire community.
He also said, “I also want to extend sincere gratitude to every vendor, partner, and every single employee who works at this airport. Their dedication, professionalism, and teamwork are what make this level of excellence possible.”
Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach says Austin Straubel’s growth demonstrates the confidence our airline partners have in the opportunities, which are reinforced by a community that prioritizes flying local and investing locally.
