
Some eastern Wisconsin businesses have earned recognition from Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce for their Manufacturers of the Year Awards.
Robinson Inc. out of De Pere won Large Business of the Year, while Kapco Inc. in Fond du Lac received the Commitment to Workforce Award.
Six other companies from across Wisconsin were recognized for representing the strength, innovation, and statewide impact of Wisconsin’s manufacturing sector.
Eck Industries and Redline Plastics in Manitowoc were nominated as finalists for the awards.
Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce President and CEO Kurt Bauer said, “These companies not only produce world‑class products but also create high‑quality jobs and strengthen local communities across the state.”
Additionally, the other Manufacturer of the Year Grand Awards were bestowed upon Brakebush Brothers Inc. in the mega category, E.K. Machine Co., Inc. received the Medium Manufacturer of the Year honor, and Reader Precision Solutions, Inc. took home the award in the small manufacturer category.
Additional Spotlight Award honors were also handed out to recognize specialized excellence in specific areas of the manufacturing industry.
The Business Resilience & Growth Award went to Custom Fabricating & Repair, Inc., and the Community Impact & Investment was given to Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC.
Last but not least, Spark Ops Metalworks LLC won the Excellence in Product & Process Innovation Award.
