Time is running out to purchase trees from Sheboygan County.
The County’s Planning and Conservation Department is reminding residents that their annual tree and shrub sale will come to a close tomorrow (February 20th).
At this time, many of the yearly favorites, such as fruit trees or berry shrubs, have been sold out, but there are nearly 40 options still available for purchase, including Balsam Firs and American Elderberry, along with mixes of beets, turnips, radishes, and rutabaga, among many others.
Additionally, the County is also selling various planting aids such as a selection of tree shelter tubes, wood support stakes, fertilizer pellets, and root gel, which also remain available.
Once the sale officially closes, buyers will be able to pick up their items between April 30th and May 2nd.
Pick up will take place at the Sheboygan County Planning and Conservation Department Facility located at 640 Forest Avenue in Sheboygan Falls.
