A Middleton teenager is in trouble with the law for allegedly bringing a realistic replica gun to school.
Police say the 15-year-old brought a CO2-powered air pistol to Middleton High School yesterday that looked similar to the real thing.
The Middleton Police Department was called to the scene, but school resource officers had already taken the student into custody.
Officials emphasized that this type of item is not allowed on campus, and no injuries were reported.
The teen could face charges of having a dangerous weapon at school, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer.
