The Sheboygan Theatre Company has opened auditions for its next production.
STC will be performing Mamma Mia! in May, while auditions are set for March 17th and 18th. Callbacks will subsequently take place the following day, on March 19th.
Auditions will be held at the STC business office located at 3330 Stahl Road in Sheboygan. Mamma Mia! is set to be directed by Zac Stearn, while Eva Stokes will serve as Music Director for the production featuring beloved songs from the band ABBA.
On what he and STC are looking for in performers, Director Stearn said, “Mamma Mia! asks performers to fully commit to the joy, the movement, and the larger-than-life storytelling. We’re looking for a cast that isn’t afraid to engage the audience and lean into the fun.”
After auditions have closed, rehearsals will begin on March 23rd, while the first show will be held on May 8th.
