Thespians at Kiel Middle School are ready to lead you past the “second star on the right and straight on ‘till morning”.
More than 70 students have been working hard at the Kiel Performing Arts Center to bring to life the world of Neverland for this weekend’s performance of Peter Pan and Wendy.
7th Grade ELA teacher Melissa Ebert tells SeehaferNews.com that the students “have poured weeks of hard work into the show, memorizing lines, practicing staging, and perfecting every scene. Backstage crews built imaginative sets from scratch, and costume teams spent hours sewing and fitting garments to bring each character to life.”
The cast members are also excited, with 8th grader Emma P. saying, “I love getting to express myself in front of an audience.”
Sawyer G., who plays Peter Pan, added that the production “really connects people.”
All are invited to take in the show at the Kiel Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 21st, at 7:00 p.m., with a matinee performance at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and are available at Cur8.com
