The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is preparing for A milestone event that begins later this month.
The Arts Center will be hosting the 40th annual Youth Art Month, which will be on view from February 28th through April 5th.
Each year, this exhibit showcases the artistic talents of students throughout Sheboygan County, from elementary students to seniors in high school.
On the milestone 40th Youth Art Month, the Arts Center said, “This anniversary exhibition not only highlights the artistic achievements of students but also underscores the vital role of arts education—and the dedication of art educators—in supporting young people as they explore identity, build confidence, and connect with one another through creative expression.”
On March 14th, the JMKAC will host the Youth Art Month Celebration from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., inviting guests to explore the exhibition, participate in hands-on art-making activities, experience live performances, and gather with fellow community members.
Outside of the celebration, the children’s artwork can be viewed at anytime during Youth Art Month during regular operating hours at the Arts Center.
