The results are in for the only local race on the primary election ballot from yesterday.
As is the case with most primary elections, the voter turnout was modest to narrow the field in the District 8 Aldermanic race in Sheboygan, with only 12% of voters in Ward 16 casting a vote.
The numbers in Ward 15 were even lower, with only 6% of eligible voters taking part.
Bryan Kelly was the most popular among the 237 voters, accumulating 123 votes, while Peter Jacobs also secured his spot in the April election with 86 votes.
Those two will square off in April as they look to take over for Alder Zach Rust, who decided not to seek another term.
