The City of Chilton and surrounding communities are showing their generosity.
In an update from the Chilton Fire Department, they have paused further donations for a family who lost everything in a fire this past weekend due to the number of items they need to sort through.
The department originally asked for clothing, T-shirts, and diapers for the family of eight.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help raise $4,500.
The fire at home in the 2300 block of Hickory Hills Road started in the basement and burned through the first floor, but was eventually extinguished.
