
A two-vehicle crash in North Fond du Lac claimed the life of a 14-year-old girl yesterday (February 16th).
The North Fond du Lac Police Department was dispatched to the area of Pioneer Road south of Mockingbird Lane just before 4:00 p.m. after the Fond du Lac Dispatch Center received a report of the crash.
The initial investigation revealed that a sedan was traveling north on Pioneer Road when it crossed the centerline, striking a pickup truck traveling south.
The three occupants of the sedan and the driver of the pickup were all taken to hospitals in the area, where the 14-year-old girl was declared dead.
The other three individuals are all said to be in stable condition and are all cooperating with the investigation.
The North Fond du Lac Police Department has stated that impairment is not believed to have been a factor in the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.
