Bail has been set for a man arrested in Manitowoc just hours after being released from jail.
55-year-old Christopher J. Sackatook was given a $100 cash bail yesterday (February 16th) by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch.
This comes as Sackatook faces two counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
The 55-year-old was arrested on Friday (February 13th) after police were called to the UnitedOne Credit Union on South 10th Street on a report of a man “hanging out by the dumpster area.”
When speaking to the officers, he admitted to drinking multiple alcoholic beverages.
The officers later learned that Sackatook had two open felony cases with bail conditions ordering him to maintain absolute sobriety, and he was subsequently taken into custody.
Additional terms of his bail once again order him to maintain absolute sobriety.
Sackatook will now return to court for his initial appearance on February 23rd at 1:30 p.m. in Branch 3.
