
The previously postponed Wisconsin SkillsUSA Regional Competition is set for later this week.
The event was initially slated to be held at Fox Valley Technical College on January 23rd; however, it was postponed due to the extreme cold.
Eastern Wisconsin will be well represented at the event, with Mishicot High School sending nine competitors, and two students making the trip from Kewaunee.
Also, Green Bay Southwest has six students on the list, Green Bay Preble boasts 15 competitors, a pair from West De Pere are on the list, Appleton West is sending a four-person contingency, Oshkosh West has a dozen students competing, and Oshkosh North is sending the most of any school participating with 21.
The opening ceremonies will begin at 8:15 a.m., with the competitions from 9:00 to noon, competition judging from noon to 1:00 p.m., and the award ceremonies at 1:00.
