The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center is asking animal lovers to join them on Valentine’s Day (February 14th).
The group’s annual Piglet Day takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., offering hands-on educational activities alongside opportunities to meet and interact with the piglets from Peter Family Show Pigs of Howards Grove.
Attendees will have the opportunity to pet and play with the piglets while learning from swine experts about the award-winning pigs and the care it takes to raise them.
Piglet at Farm Wisconsin will also feature a variety of interactive swine-focused activities where attendees can test their knowledge in a swine breed matching activity, estimate how much a piglet can eat, and practice proper piglet care with a pig farrowing simulator.
Alice in Dairyland, Sarah Hagenow, will also make a special guest appearance, and experts from the Wisconsin Pork Association will be on site, leading additional hands-on activities.
