A former staff member at Waupun Correctional Institution is awaiting sentencing.
This comes in relation to the deaths of two inmates.
Brandon Fisher of Fox Lake entered a no contest plea during a hearing this week.
This resulted in two felony charges being reduced to misdemeanors.
The 31-year-old was arrested in 2024 after two inmates died, one due to malnutrition and the other from a rare stroke.
Fisher is scheduled to be sentenced in May.
