Court proceedings have been delayed in a Sheboygan County murder case.
18-year-old Lawrence S. Buford was set for a preliminary hearing yesterday afternoon(February 11th), however, Judge Natasha Torry tells SeehaferNews.com that his court date has been rescheduled.
This comes as Buford faces charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Armed Robbery with Use of Force, and being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm in connection to the fatal shooting of Joseph Torres, which also severely injured a Sheboygan woman on January 17th.
At this time, no information has been provided as to why the hearing was pushed back or when the 18-year-old will have his preliminary hearing.
19-year-old Onterio M. Girley has also been implicated in relation to the fatal incident and faces one count of Felony Murder-Armed Robbery and will have his preliminary hearing on February 23rd.
As for Buford, he remains in custody at the Sheboygan County Jail on a $1 million cash bail until his rescheduled preliminary hearing, which remains undetermined.
