There are two meetings on tap for today (February 12th) in the City of Manitowoc.
Up first is the Municipal Tree Commission, which will be in the 1st Floor Conference Room in City Hall at 4:30 p.m.
After giving the public time to comment, the group will get the latest on tree maintenance and urban forestry grant opportunities.
They will also discuss the plans for Arbor Day and review the City’s 2025 Tree City USA application.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Police and Fire Commission will gather in the lower level of the public safety building, where they will also give the public time to comment.
Then, in a closed session, the group will interview applications from within the Police Department for the Assistant Chief of Police position.
