
The woman accused of running over an Appleton Police Officer with her vehicle has entered her plea.
21-year-old Katrina Kitzman has pleaded not guilty to charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Battery to Certain Individuals Involved with a Court or Legal System, Fleeing/Eluding an Officer, Hit and Run Involving Injury, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, Possession of THC, and OWI Causing Injury.
Kitzman was arrested in November after she allegedly ran over the leg of a police officer who was responding to a report of an altercation.
The officer was attempting to approach Kitzman, who was in her vehicle, when she suddenly accelerated.
She narrowly missed one officer, but ran over the legs of a second officer, who had to be taken to a local hospital in an ambulance.
Kitzman led police on a short chase, reaching speeds of 75 MPH, before she was finally arrested.
Her pre-trial conference has been scheduled for May 6th in Branch 2.
