
Girls’ high school basketball postseason fever will be at a high pitch tonight when Oostburg, ranked first in Division Three, visits the second-ranked team in Division One, the Arrowhead Warhawks.
The Lady Flying’ Dutch have yet to lose in 19 games this season, winning by an average of more than 34 points per contest. Their toughest test this season came at the hands of Notre Dame Academy of Green Bay, where they escaped with a 43-42 victory on November 28th.
Arrowhead is 20-1 this season, with their lone loss occurring on January 27th to Wauwatosa East. A second setback nearly happened this past Saturday, but the Warhawks escaped with a 53-52 victory over defending Division One state champion Kimberly.
The scheduled tipoff is at 7:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, on the radio tonight, Two Rivers heads to Valders with coverage on 98.9 FM WOMT and WOMTRadio.com beginning at 6:45 p.m.
Other girls’ games tonight include Manitowoc Lincoln hosting West De Pere, EWC leading Kiel heads to Roncalli, Mishicot travels to Sevastopol, Brillion takes a bus ride to New Holstein, Denmark can gain at least a share of the Northeast Conference crown with a victory over visiting Waupaca, Chilton hosts Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan North hosts Ashwaubenon, Howards Grove heads to Hilbert, and Kewaunee is on the road for Southern Door.
Elsewhere, Sturgeon Bay hosts Gibraltar, Kohler travels to Algoma, Green Bay Preble entertains Bay Port, Pulaski is at De Pere, Ozaukee heads to Milwaukee to battle Chesterton Academy, and Wrightstown hosts the Luxemburg Casco Spartans.
