Staff of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Manitowoc will be moving soon.
The group had its last day in the office on 8th Street today (February 6th) before moving its operation to its new parish office on Grand Avenue.
The parish will start working out of the new building starting next Monday (February 9th).
Parishioners raised about $2.5 million to construct the new 13,000-square-foot addition as part of their Rebuild My Church – A Vision of Renewal campaign.
The new office and gathering space will create a welcoming and functional space that reflects the parish’s mission and growing needs.
A ribbon cutting with the Chamber of Manitowoc County has also been set for Tuesday, February 17th at 4:00 p.m., followed by mass and blessing at 5:00 p.m.
Ground was officially broken in June last year.
The former St. Andrew’s School was demolished in April 2023, before their new office building was built.
