A man is facing charges after trying to flee Two Rivers police on a motorized bicycle.
The Two Rivers Police Department reports that they tried to pull the 60-year-old over on Roosevelt Avenue last night (February 5th) with lights and siren because the bike he was riding didn’t have lights on after dark.
Officers told Seehafernews.com that the man then fled and, while riding, threw a glasses case toward them.
The suspect eventually pulled into a driveway on Roosevelt Avenue and was arrested.
Police say the glasses case contained illegal contraband, including methamphetamine and other paraphernalia.
The 60-year-old is on a probation hold and is now facing charges including possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other traffic offenses.
He has one open case for resisting an officer, but has been previously convicted of other drug possession charges and felony bail jumping.
