A teacher with the Madison Metropolitan School District is on leave for allegedly speaking to an underage girl online.
David Fawcett was recently booked into the Dane County Jail when police in Texas warned the Madison Police Department about a 58-year-old man talking to a girl under the age of 18.
Fawcett was later arrested for possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation.
The Madison school district said Fawcett is a Reach teacher at Nuestro Mundo Elementary.
