An annual winter tradition will be back in Plymouth this week.
The 48th annual Classic Race of Champions snowmobile races will be held tomorrow (February 7th) and Sunday (February 8th) at Rangers Park at the corner of State Highway 57 and County Road C.
Each year, this event brings in racers from the Midwest Snocross Series, promising two days of high-flying action.
Each day, practice runs will begin at approximately 8:15 a.m. with races to kick off around 9:00 a.m.
To go along with the races, the Plymouth Snow Rangers, the hosts of the event, will offer a large number of raffles and food for purchase for those in attendance.
Admission to the event will cost $15 per day, while weekend passes are available for $25, and children 12 or younger accompanied by an adult are free.
With the return of this annual event, the Sheboygan County Planning and Conservation Department is reminding the public that the Old Plank Road Trail head in Plymouth, located adjacent to Rangers Park, will be closed today (February 6th) through Sunday to accommodate the large-scale races.
More information on the 48th Classic Race of Champions can be found online on the Facebook event page.
